Privacy, Cookies
& Legal

This page covers our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Terms of Use. We've written it in plain English rather than legalese — because you deserve to understand what we do with your data. If you have any questions, email us directly.

Who We Are

One Paid Media is a UK-based performance marketing agency. We operate the website at onepaidmedia.com and related sub-pages.

For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, One Paid Media is the data controller responsible for your personal data collected through this website.

Privacy Policy

We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit our website, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

By using this website you acknowledge that you have read this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use our website.

Data We Collect

1. Information you provide directly

When you submit a contact form or apply for a partnership, we collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Company / brand name
  • Website URL
  • Any other information you voluntarily include in your message

Form submissions are processed via Formspree (formspree.io) and delivered to our inbox. We do not store form data on our own servers.

2. Data collected automatically

When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain technical information through cookies and tracking technologies, including:

  • IP address (anonymised where possible)
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Referring URL (the site that brought you here)
  • Date and time of visit

This data is collected via Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, the TikTok Pixel, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag. Full details are in the Cookie Policy and Tracking Pixels sections below.

3. Data from our internal tools

Our internal platform (app, research, and planning tools) is password-protected and used only by One Paid Media staff. Any client data stored in these tools is held securely and is not shared with third parties beyond those necessary to operate the service (e.g., Anthropic's Claude API for AI-powered analysis).

Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We use cookies to make our website work, understand how visitors use it, and to serve relevant advertising on other platforms.

Essential cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function. They cannot be turned off.

Analytics cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it. They collect anonymised data.

Marketing & advertising cookies

These cookies are set by our advertising partners and allow us to build audiences on advertising platforms for remarketing and lookalike targeting. They track your visit across different websites.

Managing your cookie preferences

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the banner shown on your first visit. You can also manage cookies directly in your browser settings — most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies at any time.

Blocking marketing cookies will not affect your ability to use our website, but it may mean the advertising you see on other platforms is less relevant to you. It will not stop advertising from reaching you — it will just make it less tailored.

Tracking Pixels

We use tracking pixels from the following advertising platforms. These pixels collect information about your visit and may match it to data those platforms already hold about you if you have an account with them.

Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram)

The Meta Pixel is a piece of code provided by Meta Platforms Inc. It allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, build retargeting audiences of website visitors, and create lookalike audiences based on our site visitors.

The Meta Pixel may collect: pages viewed, time on site, device information, IP address, and standard browser information. If you have a Facebook account, Meta may associate this data with your profile.

To opt out of Meta's interest-based advertising: facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads. You can also use the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool.

Meta's data policy: facebook.com/policy.php

TikTok Pixel

The TikTok Pixel is provided by TikTok Inc. It measures how users interact with our website after viewing or clicking a TikTok ad, and allows us to optimise future campaigns and build retargeting audiences.

The TikTok Pixel may collect: pages viewed, device identifiers, browser information, and IP address.

To manage TikTok's data use: TikTok Privacy Policy.

LinkedIn Insight Tag

The LinkedIn Insight Tag is provided by LinkedIn Corporation. It enables conversion tracking, retargeting, and LinkedIn audience analytics for our campaigns on LinkedIn.

LinkedIn may collect: URL, referrer, IP address, device and browser information, and timestamp. LinkedIn does not share personal data with One Paid Media — it provides aggregated reports only.

To opt out of LinkedIn's retargeting: LinkedIn opt-out page.

LinkedIn's data policy: linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy

Google Analytics (GA4)

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC. It helps us understand how visitors find and use our website. Data is anonymised where possible and we do not enable Google Signals by default.

To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites: install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services which may process your data:

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We do not share your personal data with any third party for their own marketing purposes.

Data transfers outside the UK

Some of our third-party providers are based in the United States (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Formspree, Anthropic). Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we ensure it is protected by appropriate safeguards — typically Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or the UK-US data bridge — as required under UK GDPR.

Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected:

  • Contact form submissions — up to 3 years from receipt, or until you ask us to delete them.
  • Analytics data — retained by Google Analytics for 14 months by default.
  • Pixel data — retained by Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn per their own policies (typically 180 days).
  • Client data — retained for the duration of our engagement plus 7 years (UK tax and accounting requirements).
